I like the 3 minute. There's a good reversal above the low and below the high from the overnight. In a failure in the other direction makes the great reversal. Thanks for your work Rick.
Hi Rick, your explanation of failed breakdowns was really well done. Even a trading dummy like me could understand it! And I have decided to subscribe because of it. Reading about it is quite different than actually implementing the strategy. Your sub should help to get over that hurdle -- with levels and stops.
Do you also coordinate the level with gamma from the market makers in your daily posts? That would be awesome.
Also, just as we have failed breakdowns, do you also consider failed BREAKOUTS? Seems like a logical extension of the strategy.
Finally, if the breakdown down does not fail and price goes not reverse, but rather continues to go down below support, do you buy puts to take advantage of the continued breakdown?
Many possibilities here! Kindly send me the link to part 2 of the strategy.
My levels do not always align with the Gamma levels there is an overlap every so often. If there is I reference them on my plans or recap posts as reference for next session
I do consider failed break outs which, if you read my posts from 1/16/2026 is why I called for a short on a weekly close below 6988 as that was a potential mutli week failed break out.
I dont purchase puts most times, I refrian from trading options most times.
Prior Cheap Bastid Lookin' for a Handout comment aside, you provided uniquely valuable insights here on where/how to look for the significant failed breakdown reversals. Thank you.
Rick is a very good trader and I am learning trading reversals from what he shares during the live sessions on Youtube. He plans for these trades ahead of time and captures significant RRR.
Thanks for your comment, agreed this set up was in a different realm anytime vix < 18-22. Wasn't as smooth back in April last year , or the Yen carry unwind period year prior to that as well.
Thank you for all that you do!
